I stirred. My head was
aching. As I opened my eyes, I saw a very bright light. I heard music in the
background. I was not sure where I was. The ceiling spun slowly before my eyes.
There was a man in the light that stretched his hand towards me. My head lay on
something soft and cloudy.
Lord Jesus?, I asked, a
little petrified. Is that you, Lord?
He didn’t say anything.
Then I heard voices. They
were saying many things. I felt peace and joy. Could this be?
Thank goodness, she is
fine!!.
No, that wasn’t Jesus.
That was a feminine voice. Virgin Mary perhaps.
Sharon! Thank God!
I snapped back to real
time. The man in the light was Musa. I had no idea why I thought he was Jesus.
And then, Mary? No, it was Amanda. I was not in front of the Pearly Gates. I
was still on the floor in the open office. ED sat onm chair about three feet
away from me. The muttering was from colleagues who huddled in groups and spoke
in hushed tones. Two cops were leading Sandra away in handcuffs.
It’s been about an hour
since I passed out.
The ED looked fit as a
fiddle. His eyes glistened with tears as he looked at me. It wasn’t until the
next day before I got the full story.
Sandra had had beef
with ED for over 3 years. She believed that, at her level, she ought to be an
Executive Director too. But the MD/CEO and other members of the Board did not
think so. As far as she was concerned, she was next in line and the only person
standing between her and that dream was ED. Knowing his antecedents, she set
him up with virtually everyone in the office. He became a demon and she was the
angel. She put that note under my keyboard.
When that did not work
fast enough, she spiked his drink to take him out. Only she didn’t think it
would happen in the office. Plus, she never reckoned with the fact that Jesus
still raised the dead and had a witnessed in me. As soon as I fainted, there
was a bit of commotion in the office. Musa tackled Sandra and had her pinned
down. Someone called the police and the hospital. Sandra will be gone for a
long time.
That night, the last
night of 7 days of Glory 2015 was perhaps the most amazing night of my life. As
pastor Mathew preached and prophesied, I intermittently turned to see my ED and
six other people from my office listening intently and responding to the Word
of God.
ED and Amanda answered
the altar call to give their lives to Jesus.
I got a promotion. And
a raise.
I became a mother to my
colleagues, as they came to me with questions about life and godliness.
I am only six months in
Christ.
I am not perfect.
But I am growing daily
in Christ.
I am a vessel in God’s
hands.
This is just one week
of my life.
What do you think God
will do through you if you yield?
Selah!!!!1
The End………
