97-year old Margaret Thome Bekema satisfied a long lasting objective when she got her secondary school confirmation 80 years after she was compelled to drop out with a specific end goal to help her crew. School chairmen from Catholic Focal Secondary School in Fantastic Rapids gave her the certificate at the Yorkshire and Stonebridge Estate senior group in Walker.
Bekema would have graduated with the Class of 1936, however she cleared out amid her lesser year to tend to her three more youthful kin in light of the fact that her mom was sick with tumor. She said leaving school at age 17 made herextremely upset and she's grateful for the acknowledgment.
